What Makes One Better Than the Other?
Vacuums are machines. That means they are prone to failure and poor engineering, just like anything else with moving parts.
So what actually makes one vacuum better than another? In my opinion, one thing stands out above everything else. The results you can see and feel. If the carpet looks clean and the vacuum is collecting dirt, then it is doing its job.
It does not take long to separate the good from the not so good. There are three key measurements that matter when it comes to vacuum performance:
- Water lift
- CFM air movement
- Amperage
If all of these line up and a vacuum, whether canister or upright, performs well across the board, then what is next?
The second factor is independent consumer and user reviews. Finding honest, unbiased feedback is not always easy, but when you do, it can make a big difference in your decision.
This is where buying local matters. Do you trust the people you are buying from? Can they support you if something goes wrong? Can they repair the machine when it needs it?
We believe that service and trust are just as important as the product itself. We will match any online distributor’s price on an equivalent unit and go a step further.
